10 day Itinerary

Based on a family of 4 - approx £4,900pp (based on July/August departures)

Car Hire – Toyota Rav 4 or similar – Fully insured with a free tank of fuel, plus a GPS. Collect vehicle from Calgary Airport

DAY 1 - Drive to Fox Hotel & Suites (3 nights) – 2 Bedroom Superior Suite – Room only -  Located just two blocks from downtown Banff

DAY 2 - At LEISURE

DAY 3 – Explore Banff - Gondola & Cruise –  Learn about culture, geology and wildlife while exploring the spectacular sights of the renowned mountain town of Banff. This sightseeing tour will take you to some of the most incredible sights and sounds that western Canada has to offer. Head up the Banff Gondola to the peak of Sulphur Mountain for a 360 degree panorama of the Bow Valley. Complete the day with a historical tour of Lake Minnewanka on the Lake Minnewanka Cruise. 

Day 4 - Travel day to Lake Louise - AT LEISURE

Lake Louise Inn (2 nights) – Deluxe Two Bedroom Room – Room only. 

Day 5 -  Tour – Mountains, Lakes & Waterfalls – Visit the most treasured spots in the Canadian Rockies on this remarkable excursion through Banff and Yoho National Parks. Experience the evolution of land and discover how it has shaped the appearance of the spectacular natural wonders found in these mountain settings.  Moraine Lake - Valley of the Ten Peaks - Spiral Tunnels - Takakkaw Falls.

Day 6  – Drive to Three Bars Ranch

2x Cabins – Full board including all activities – 6 nights Three Bars Guest and Cattle Ranch is located in the Canadian Rocky Mountains of British Columbia, between Banff and Glacier National Park. 

This special part of the world offers an abundance of nature, clean, rushing water, green fields, and breath-taking mountain views. Home to more than 120 horses and 140 head of cattle, Three Bars is a fully sufficient cattle ranch. Operating as a working ranch for over 80 years. Three Bars is also home to Beckley Reining Performance Horses and the year-round home to the Beckley Family. Located between the St.Mary River and Perry Creek the ranch is surrounded by endless wilderness. With 8 miles of private river access the St. Mary River provides an endless and untouched fly-fishing paradise. The surrounding wilderness and valleys provide diverse terrain for riding, hiking, and mountain biking. Three Bars Guest and Cattle Ranch was designed and built in 1989 as a modern vacation ranch. Nestled on 35,000 acres, it boasts 21 log cabins, a 7500 square-foot main guesthouse, and 2 acres of grass courtyard. Dining at Three Bars Guest Ranch is truly an experience. 

Days 6 -10 - Enjoy you days ranching and taking part in ranch life. The days begins with your choice of a light breakfast or a meal to fill you up for the day. Fresh fruit, cereal, yogurt, and oatmeal for those that prefer something simple. Hot breakfast menu varies from pancakes & waffles to bacon, sausages, and eggs. Weekly breakfast rides are a Three Bars Guest Ranch favourite. 

Return from your morning ride for a delicious midday meal. 

The most social time at Three Bars Guest Ranch, this is a time to sit back, relax and enjoy another exquisite meal. 

Whether you prefer a cold beer after a long day on the trail or a bottle of fine wine with dinner, you will find it in The Saloon. The Saloon features great local breweries and some of BC’s finest vineyards. The Saloon can accommodate nearly any request. The recreation lounge is the perfect place to leave the trail dust behind and relax before dinner. Have a drink and share stories of the day’s adventures. The main lodge is the hub of ranch life, a place to relax and enjoy.
