Explore the Yellowstone National Park and all the wonders it has to offer and then experience the breathtaking 'Big Country' in Montana on a family run working ranch.

DAY 1 - London Heathrow - Dallas, Dallas - Jackson Hole

DAY 2 - EXPLORE

Jackson is in a wonderful mountain natural setting and it is within the valley between two stunning Mountain ranges - known for its beauty, Snake River winds its way through the valley. The local “Ranch” lifestyle prioritizes respecting privacy, slowing down, and reconnecting with nature. 


The local restaurants vary from casual to fine dining and offer the attention to detail, creativity, and authenticity that you would expect to find in a major city. 


The area’s cultural heartbeat is in Downtown Jackson. Town Square Park with its iconic antler arches, sits at the centre of town, surrounded by blocks of walk-able restaurants, shops, and galleries. Spend an afternoon strolling the boardwalks. You could travel south for white water rafting, Kayaking and river activities or travel East to the National Elk Refuge or a river trip in the Grand Tetons. With close proximity to Yellowstone National Park, Grand Teton National Park, and access to rivers, lakes, mountains, and valleys you can enjoy plenty of activities.


Day 3 - 6 -60 miles - Leave Jackson and head to Yellowstone National Park, travelling east and explore the stunning Geyser basins  and see The Old Faithful Geyser - which erupts every 90 minutes and is the most popular attraction in Yellowstone! Then continue west again and soak up Yellowstone Lake (136sq miles!) - you can take a boat tour, kayaking or canoeing. 


Whilst in Yellowstone, Visit Lamar Valley, keep an eye out for Bison, Elk, Pronghorn Antelope (the fastest land animal in the world!) and Bears! Visit Undine Falls, Mammoth Hot Springs to check out the unique limestone travertine formations. 60% of the world’s geysers are located in Yellowstone National Park. There’s over 10,000 hydrothermal features located in the park, such as geysers, mud pots, hot springs, fumaroles and travertine terraces (lots of oozing, weird-smelling, colourful, bubbling good-ness!)

3 nights in Grant Village, Yellowstone - room only


Day 7 - Head out on the Beartooth Highway spend the day taking in this route - take a picnic - dubbed the most stunning drive in America. Be prepared to drive along elevations of over 10,000ft. This is pure bliss and natural beauty, it connects the southern tip of Montana with the north-east entrance of Yellowstone National Park. Travel into the Beartooth Mountains - stop and enjoy the views at the various spots. You will drive through the Northern Rockies and you are at the highest point as you cross into Wyoming. On decent crystal clear waters may require a journey on foot and enjoy a gentle hike enjoying your surroundings! Stop at Red Lodge  -  stop at the Montana Candy Emporium. It’s an old time candy store! 


Day 6 - Big Timber bound - 86 miles to the ranch - which will take about 1.5hours from Red Lodge.
